With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale R. Schaefer (Godfrey, Illinois), born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on September 22, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glennon and Katherine Schaefer Sr. (Hammett); his wife Charlotte Straube; and his sister-in-law Norma Pitchford. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
