He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Veit and Adele Veit (Fielder); his sister Marjorie Johnk; and his daughter Jennifer Diane Veit. He is survived by: his spouse Betty Hammett; his daughters, Karen Shinn, Peggy Shaffer (Blaine) and Melissa Burns (Roy); and his grandchild Ian Shinn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bus Fund or the Radio Fund at the Evangelical United Church of Christ.
