It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adelbert Ambuehl Jr. of Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelbert J. Ambuehl Sr. and Doris Mae Ambuehl (Schmidt); his brother Richard Ambuehl; and his granddaughter Ghia Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Karan Ambuehl of Granite City, IL; his sons, Blake Ambuehl (Luz) of Granite City, IL and Gregory Ambuehl (Imelda) of Las Vegas, NV; his granddaughters, Donna Westover (Chance) of Canyon Lake, TX, Kara Pangelinan (Zach) of Granite City, IL and Deanna McBain (Barry) of Fords, NJ.; his great grandchildren, Holly, Alec, Ghia Page, Kymani, Zephyr and Myles; and his great great grandchildren, Ghia Grace, Everly and Avery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
