It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Joann Blaylock of Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert R. McKeown and Ethel M. Bentler (Smith); her siblings, Suzanne Jaycox, John McKeown and James McKeown; and her grandson Andrew Doherty.

She is survived by : her husband Albert Blaylock of Granite City; her children, Deanna Chastain (Brian) of Granite City, IL, Cynthia Doherty (Rodger) of Florissant, MO and Jonathan Blaylock (Gina) of Granite City, IL; and her sister Nancy Powell of Florissant, MO. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorial donations may be given to House of Victory Church in Rose Wood Heights, IL. Donations will be accepted at the funeral chapel.
