With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Marie Thompson of Granite City, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on April 6, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edwin Miller and Stella Miller (Copeland); her daughter Linda Morgan; and her grandson Brian Morgan. She is survived by : her husband Donald Eugene Thompson; her daughter-in-law Lynn (Beth Jones); her daughter Lisa; her son-in-law Chris Hillmer of Granite City; and her grandchildren, Chris Morgan, Jason Morgan, Rachel Woodson (Jeffrey), Leah Sanchez (Jon), Eric Jones, Lauren Ulaszek (Kyle) and Lindsey Hillmer. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; a great-great grandson; nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church and may be accepted at the funeral chapel.
