She was predeceased by: her father Patrick Floyd McGowan, Sr.; her siblings, Patrick McGowan, Jr. and Cynthia Smith; and her granddaughter Tiarra Ferrell. She is survived by: her mother Rosa; her daughters, Amy Barker of Granite City, Samantha Ferrell of Granite City and Ashley Williams of Granite City; her grandchildren, Paige Stevenson, Drake Stevenson, Jasmaine Ferrell (Sean Wright), Isabella Ferrell, Brooklyn Ferrell, Rayven Ferrell, George Wilson, Jr., Carman Williams and Carson Williams; her great grandchildren, Lochlan and Adalynn; and her siblings, Thomas McGowan (Aimee) of O'Fallon, IL, Joseph McGowan of Bethalto, IL, John McGowan of Granite City and Mary Edwards (Ed) of Granite City.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory (3939 Lake Dr, Granite City, IL 62040). A memorial service was held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
