We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2024, at the age of 73, Paula Jean Zavala of Granite City, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Paula Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Paula Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul T. Brown and Connie Nelson (Messer); and her sister Pamela Knowjewski. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Pulliam (Joane) of Granite City, Mark Pulliam (Judith) of Granite City and Shyam Sujanani (Amy) of Troy, IL; and her siblings, P. T. Brown, Jr. of Baltimore, MD, Jeff Crisel of Festus, MO and Sharon Young (Allen) of Sparta, IL.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
