Shirley Mae Fisher Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Mae Fisher of Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on December 22, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Moll and Mary Moll (Layton); her husband Daniel R. Deak Sr.; her former husband Thomas Fisher; her daughter Elizabeth Deak; her granddaughter Crystal Harris; her great grandchildren, Carter and Oliver Deak; and her siblings, Gladys Ogden, Margaret Moll, Genevieve Miller, Wilma Ogden, Harold Moll, Raymond Moll and Joe Moll.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Loehr (Michael), Bonnie Peters (Stephen), Shirley Bays (Richard), Bertha Harris (William), Daniel R. Deak, Jr. (Mary) and Leo Deak (Barbara); her stepchildren, Mikel Fisher and Sharon Fisher; and her sister Loretta Schulte. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Shirley's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
