We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2019, at the age of 90, Stanley S. Squires (Granite City, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Squires and Lottie Squires (Rainwater); his daughter Paula Ann Werner; and his sister Louise Potillo. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Squires of Granite City, IL; his son Lynn Squires; his daughter-in-law Nancy Squires of Granite City, IL; his sister Geneva Felker of Granite City, IL; and his grandchildren, Angela Sneed (David) of Sweeny, TX, Randy Werner (Angela) of Chester, IL, Matthew Werner (Sara) of Glen Carbon, IL, Kerri Squires-Yount of Granite City, IL and William Werner (Michelle) of Granite City, IL. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorial donations may be given to Dewey Avenue Methodist Church or to the family.
