She is survived by: her husband William N. Knapp; her son William V. Knapp of Granite City; her daughter-in-law Judith A. Knapp of Granite City; her sister Carol Cooper of Granite City; her sibling's children, Denise (Barry Shepherd), Melissa and Rufus Valencia (Melinda Cooper) of Maryville; her goddaughter Tessa Bierlein of Spring Hill, Tennessee; and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth and Carol Crick of Edwardsville. She is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews; great-great nephews; other extended family.
