With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William R. Weckman Jr. of Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, William R. Weckman, and Theresa M. Weckman, Sr. (Lencic); and his children, Cynthia Weckman and Douglas Weckman. He is survived by : his daughter Channa (Ryan Hankins); his grandson Ayden Hankins of Granite City; his siblings, Ronald J. (Brenda Weckman) and Marilyn J. "Jeannie" (Gary Wilbur); his nieces and nephews, Keri Haefner of Kentwood, MI, Shelly, Chris Ehrlich of Springfield, IL, Cheri Wilbur of Edwardsville, IL, Greg Weckman and Shane Jones of St. Louis, MO; his great-nephews, Aaron Haefner and William Ehrlich; his great-niece Amber Ehrlich; his former life partner Ruth Weckman; and his close friends, Leon and Brenda Daniels. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors in honor of his daughter Cynthia.
