With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Marcotte of Grant Park, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexis Marcotte and Ruth Forburger Marcotte; his brothers, Albert and Donald; and his in-laws, Nick and Yvonne Debouck.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Marcotte; his children, Debbie Marcotte of Momence, Monica Clark (Bob) of Grant Park, Mark Marcotte (Nancy) of Grant Park and Mike Marcotte (Kelly Brehm) of Momence; his grandchild A. J.; his cousins, Richard Clark (Jessica), Hannah Clark (Ryan Murphy), Dylan, Kennedy, Nixon Marcotte, Alexa Latty (Austin), Chance Marcotte (Erin), Kamden and Tate Marcotte; his great grandchild Mackenzie; his cousins, Memphis Clark, Everett, Isaha, Ozzie Latty and Drew Marcotte; and his brother Dan Marcotte (Virginia) of Valparaiso. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grant Park Community Center (209 Dixie Hwy, Grant Park, IL 60940).
Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Cemetery Association in Momence or to the donor's choice, in lieu of flowers.
