It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine F. Shay of Green Valley, Illinois, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Willard H. Krohn and Reeda M. Weyhrich Krohn; her husband George M. Shay; her brother Earl R. Krohn; and her daughter Michelle Diane Skaggs.

She is survived by : her children, David W. Shay (Merlan), Gary E. Shay (Debbie), Cherie L. Reagan (David), Debra A. Null (Chuck) and Melanie J. Blair (Donnie); her stepsons, Michael Skaggs (Cheryl) and Randy Skaggs (Tara); and her sister-in-law Carol J. Krohn. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren, one on the way; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
