She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Smith and Velma Smith (Noffsinger); her husband Charles V. "Chod" Kistler; her sons, Charles Bradley "Brad" Kistler and Kevin Dale Kistler; her brother Ronald Smith; and her grandsons, Shane Devall and Cory Kistler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Moore (James) of Pocahontas and Kathy Hawkins (Dale) of Panama; her sisters, Gaye Knohoff of Centralia and LuAnn Nestrick of Vandalia; her grandchildren, Michael Jones, Christopher Jones, Ashley Moore, Alyssa Flynn, Shaun Devall, Rick Devall, Brittany Apke and Cody Kistler; and her great grandchildren, Damien, Stavados, Nafiz, Ziva, Molly, Cayden, Bowen and Coleman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Ltd. (204 N 4th St, Vandalia, IL 62471). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.
