He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Earl Shaw and Marie Shaw; his wife Shirley Y. Shaw; his son George Mark Shaw (Charles Vandergrift); his grandchildren, Lillie Ellen Shaw of Hampden, NC and Daniel William Larkin Shaw of Hampden, NC; his sister Judith E. Lockwood (Ken); and his brother-in-law James F. "Max" Clements.
