He was predeceased by : his parents, James S. Younker, and Virginia Younker, Sr. (Myers); and his brother Robert Younker. He is survived by : his wife Jo (Bonner) of Greenville, IL; his children, Paul Younker (Lisa) of Greenville, IL and Kelly Richardson (Joe) of Greenville, IL; his grandchildren, Seth Younker of St. Louis, MO., Emma Howard (Michael) of Detroit, MI and Joseph Richardson of Greenville, IL; his great grandchildren, Izabella Howard of Detroit, MI, Mikey Howard of Detroit, MI and Moriah Howard of Detroit, MI; his brother John Younker (Ruth Alice) of Mt. Zion, IL; and his sister-in-law Becky Younker of St. Charles, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family would appreciate memorial contributions to the First United Methodist Church – general fund, in lieu of plants, flowers, and other gifts. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in James Younker's name.
