He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Mary Lou; his grandfather Clause; his son Jason Widenhoefer (Laura); his father Max Warren Widenhoefer; his siblings, Don Widenhoefer (Donna), Craig Widenhoefer (Ingrid), Bruce Widenhoefer and Annette Widenhoefer (Lisa); his siblings' children, Eric Widenhoefer (Laura), Brett Widenhoefer, Melanie Widenhoefer and Melissa Gomez (Jesse); and his godchildren, Michelle and Meaghan Cutler. He was also cherished by many other friends and family members.
