He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Hook and Ruby Hook (Strang); his sister Mildred; his brother-in-law George Hoviin (Ginny); his sibling's children, Eddie Hoviin and Susan Hoviin; and his sister-in-law Martha Johnson (Verner).
He is survived by: his wife Miriam Hoviin; and his sibling's children, Sherri Elkinton (Bill), George Hoviin Jr., Bill Johnson (Gayle) and Bob Johnson (Phyllis). He is also survived by his niece and nephews.
