She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Rost and Mary Rost (Anselment); her former life partner V. L. Jack Reyling; her husband Kenneth J. Mitchell; and her siblings, John, Leo, Edward Rost, Lucille Allsbury, Irene Kreher, Helen Walk and Eleanor Rankin.

She is survived by : her children, Kristy Bowers (Archie), Rita Phillips (Glen), Randy Reyling (Beverly), Jim Reyling (Pandora), Jeff Reyling (Hilary) and Cindy Anselment (Tom); her grandchildren, Aaron, Adam, Daniel Phillips, Brittany Bowers, Kasi Sullivan (Jeremy), Tyler Reyling (Bethany), Lauren Friar (Chris), Lynn Smith (Kane), Lucas Anselment (Breanne), Dillin, Shelby Reyling, Justin, Jayci, Kohen Reyling and Brooke Beard; her great grandchildren, Lee, Cody, Elliotte Sullivan, Jayke Friar, Preston Essary, Thorin Phillips, Archer Damron, Aiden, Owen Smith, Harper, Avery Reyling and Mabry Anselment; her sister Mary Lou Brown; and her sister-in-law Margie Mitchell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 a Private Family Mass will be held Friday, April 23, 2021 at 10:00 a. m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Piopolis with Fr. Slawomir Ptak conducting the Mass and a Recitation of the Rosary at 9:30 a. m.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hamilton County Relay For Life: Team Reyling and will be accepted at the church or the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
