She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil George and Helen Frances Swan Prickett; her brothers, Ronald and James; and her siblings-in-law, John George, Dwight Giberson, Debbie Prickett, Brenda Prickett and Rose Prickett.

She is survived by : her husband Melvin Eugene George; her children, Mark (Armilda) of Hamilton, Marty (Sue) of New London and Joni Wikman (Mike) of Regina; her grandchildren, Josiah, Geoffery, Noah, Hannah, Caleb, Lauren, Joshua and Paige; her siblings, Shirley Giberson of Hillsboro, Barb Prickett of Salem, Gary Prickett of Burlington and Randy Prickett of Salem; and her sister-in-law Karen George of Northfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established in her honor.
