Thomas Lamar Farris Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 15, 2022, at the age of 92, Thomas Lamar Farris of Hamilton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, June Farris and Vesta Farris (Martin); his former life partner Bernice Farris (Perry); his siblings, Austin, Raz, Gary Farris, Royce Holt, Lou Tester and Bobbie Cocker; and his stepson Kent Sawyer.
He is survived by : his wife Kathryn Farris of Hamilton; his sons, Thomas Farris, Jr. (Heather) of Rushville, Timothy Farris (Dawn) of Hamilton and Michael Stevens (Boo) of Washington State; his daughter-in-law Shelli Sawyer of Hamilton; his siblings, Doug Farris of Adair, Dwain Farris of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas and Sherry Alman of Norfork, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Ashley Bowers of North Carolina, Emily Erhart of Troy, Abigail, Autumn of Rushville, Sidnee Sawyer of Edwardsville, Connor Farris of Russia and Trevor Farris of Spokane Valley, Washington. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be directed to South Side Boat Club for a memorial project to be determined.
