It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie L Gehrke (Hampshire, Illinois), born in Arlington Heights, Illinois, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Emil Winkelmann and Emilia Winkelmann (Karnatz); her husband Arnold Gehrke; her brother Emil; her nephew Glen Winkelmann; and her great-nephew Gordon.

She is survived by : her son Robert Gehrke (Beth); her grandchildren, Wayne Gehrke (Katie Crawford) and Carolyn Brummel (Scott); her daughter-in-law Sherry Gehrke; her sister-in-law Mildred Winkelmann; and her nieces, Karen Stojan (Phil), Donna Happersberger (John) and Joyce Schwebel (Hank).
