It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Taylor of Hampton, Illinois, born in Aledo, Illinois, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David William and Marjorie Leanna Taylor (Morris); his wife Kathy Obermiller; his mother-in-law Merilyn Obermiller of Comanche, Iowa; his siblings, Rev. Ron Taylor (Jodi) of Gladstone, Missouri and Nancy Taylor of East Moline; his aunts, Eleanor Lloyd of Aledo and Martha Cirks (Elden) of Aledo; his niece Jessica Taylor of Gladstone; and also, James, Sammi Taylor of Richmond, John, Nicole Taylor of Aledo, Alexsis, Ethan, Josiah and Naomi.
In lieu of flowers, Joe's family requests friends to plant a tree in his memory.
