He was predeceased by : his parents, James Robert and Henriette Brown (Nelson); and his children, Debra Kay, Brenda Jean and Scottie.

He is survived by : his wife Linda; his children, Sandra Glossen (Jay), Bobby Wayne Brown (Kelli) of Mississippi, Rodney Brown (Diana) of East Peoria, IL., Mikey Brown (Sandi) of Bakersfield and Calif; and also Robert, Jr. Brown (Juanita) of Mississippi. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great and great great-grandchildren.
