It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colleen D. Whitmer of Hanna City, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Milton Wernsman and Cherida Burchell Wernsman; her husband Clyde D. Whitmer; and her grandson Seth Whitmer. She is survived by : her children, April Humphrey, Susan Wang (Mark), Tony Whitmer, Julie Schisler, Steven Whitmer, Robert Whitmer and Jennie Alt (John); and her sister Marleen Pelham. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
