It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Bishop Sr. of Hanna City, Illinois, born in Bureau, Illinois, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell Bishop and Lena Bishop Sr. (Songer); his wife Marilyn Kay Johnson; his son Troy Dean Bishop; and his daughter-in-law Angela R. Bishop.
He is survived by : his son Phil Bishop Jr.; and his grandchildren, Timmy Bishop, Tyler Bishop, Shane DeVere Stewart (Beth Phillips), Dillion Andrew Reissen, Samantha Erlene Reissen and Cody Bishop (Hannah Jones). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or Trivoli United Methodist Church.
