He was predeceased by : his brothers, Gerard, Joost and Eduard. He is survived by : his parents, Cornelis Rutteman and Auguste Rutteman; his spouse Marie Therese; his child Dominique; and his sisters-in-law, May Rutteman of The Hague, Holland Rutteman and Sonia Gonzalez Rutteman of Maracaibo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Association in the name of Maarten H. Rutteman would be appreciated.
