She was predeceased by: her parents, LaVern Meese and Donna Meese (Milam); her brother Bill Meese; her siblings-in-law, Jean Meese and Jerry Merideth; and her grandson Jackson Lee.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence "Ed" Higgins; her children, Rachel (Lonnie Utley), Brandy (John Salmon) and Cody; her daughter-in-law Emily Higgins; her grandchildren, Starla Elliott, Lilliana Inskeep and Lawson Utley; and her sister Pamela Merideth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy may take place in the form of a contribution in her honor to "Christmas in the Park" for Oblong Park. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home, where donations may also be mailed.
