She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Mercer and Carla Mercer (Enslow); and her sister Virginia Kuhlman. She is survived by: her fiancé Brian Selby; her children, Zachary "Zack" Gibbs and Natalie Gibbs of Havana; her stepson Dawson Lawrence of Havana; her grandson Aries Gibbs of Astoria; and her siblings, Sara Picken of Havana, Courtney Wood of Springfield, Savannah Wood of Girard and Kristen Mercer of Virden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home - Havana (217 N Plum St, Havana, IL 62644).
Memorial contributions may be made in Rebecca's name to the American Heart Association.
