With solemn reverence, we commemorate Robert Earl Goldthwaite Jr. of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, whose life came to an end on July 2, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl Sr. and Pearl Goldthwaite; and his siblings, Carolyn Miller (Mike), Joe (Linda) and Kenny Goldthwaite.
He is survived by: his wife Irene (Juban) of Michael's Catholic Church; his brother Lee Goldthwaite (Rita); and his sister-in-law Daphne Goldthwaite. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St Francis de Sales Catholic Church (33 S Buesching Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047). A prayer will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (33 S Buesching Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's name may be made to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lake Zurich, IL and St. Michael's Cemetery Association in Sheffield, PA.
