With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. Potter of Henning, Illinois, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on August 28, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Potter and Genevieve Potter (Dickman); his son Andrew; and his sister Judy. He is survived by: his children, Debra Robling (Mike) of Hoopeston, Terri Leibach (Randy) of Indian Springs, Sherri Mikalik (Fred) of Bismarck, Rachel Bryant (Jeff) of Danville and Ben Potter (Linda) of Georgetown; his sister Linda Story (Alfred) of Danville; his sisters-in-law, Cindy Fatigati (Nello) and Wilma Duncan; and his grandchildren, Tyler Robling, Brooke Stewart (JD), Sgt. Cade Potter (Kim), Ben Potter (Brook), Jennifer Wear (Cole), Kristen Wilson, Katie Hensold (Ben), Emily Leibach, Zac Mikalik (Anne), Nate Mikalik, Andy, Kayla, Kimberly Wireman and Adam Bryant. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
