We bid farewell to John David Wright of Henning, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 6, 2024 at the age of 89. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Wright and Yvonne Wright (Langlett); his sister Lillian Stigman; his former wives, Betty Wright and Marlene Wright; and his son Larry Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Brutlag of Henning, IL; his children, Jeff Wright (Bonny) of Covington, IN, Greg Wright (Nancy) of Veedersburg, IN, Brad Wright (Amy) of Champaign, IL, Mike Dean (Teresa) of Hoopeston, IL, Bruce Dean (Christine) of Chesapeake, VA, Lori Dean of Naples, FL and Amy Hegg (Clifford) of Bismarck, IL; and his brother Lyle Wright (Louise) of Danville, IL.. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in John's memory to the Rossville Church of Christ, American Legion Post 210 Honor Guard or the Wounded Warrior Project.
