It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary Lee Smith of Henning, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Adams and Gwen Adams (Hall); her stepfather Russell Hardy; and her siblings, Samuel Adams, Betty Short, Phyllis Lindsey, Alice Rose, Gene Adams and Jack Adams.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Smith of Henning, IL; her sons, Jim Smith, Jr. (Vicki) of Henning, IL, Russell Smith (Leigh) of Danville, IL, Ronald Smith (Kim) of Battle Creek, MI and Kevin Smith (Gina) of Hillsboro, IL; her grandchildren, Melissa Bell (Tyson), Joseph Smith (Bryanna), Danielle George (Freddy), Amanda Smith, Alisha Hill (Scott), Ronald Smith, Jr., John Smith, Ashley Smith, Taelyn Smith and Kaeden Smith; and her siblings, Linda Carter, Donald Adams (Penny), Kenny Adams (Janie) and Jeanette King (Jon Burton). She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
