Angela Giermala Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2021, at the age of 96, Angela Giermala of Henry, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Angela Giermala to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her husband Henry J. "Hank" Giermala; her parents, Archangelo Paluzzi and Amelia Paluzzi; and her sisters, Violet Biro (late Steve), Lillian Bonzek (late Joseph) and Edith D'Atri (late Chester).
She is survived by : her children, Victoria Recchia (late Nicola), Judi Petersen (late Raymond) and Mark Giermala (Rebecca); and her grandchildren, Gregory Gear (Laura), Vickie Gear, David Gear (Stephanie), Jonathan Gear (Beth), Douglas Petersen (Gerri Kenneally), Henry Petersen (Cheri), Amy Mangun (Jim), Giana Giermala and Matthew Giermala (Jenny). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with CDC guidelines, all attending the visitation and funeral services will be required to wear a facial mask and observe social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American-Italian Cultural Society Scholarship Fund would be appreciated.
