With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald L. Combes of Henry, Illinois, born in Spring Valley, Illinois, who passed away on January 10, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Combes and Mary Jean Combes (Wiess); and his siblings, Harry and Beverly (Bob). He is survived by: his children, Ronald Combes (Diane) of Rockford, Cheryl Mateika (Calvin Hutson) of Spring Valley and LeeAnn Kirby (Wayne) of LaSalle; and his sister Jill Hayden (Pete) of Medford, Oregon. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude or Gateway Center in Princeton.
