She was predeceased by: her parents, June Smith Hurst and Oser; her daughter Kerri Rogers; and her grandson Dallas James Holland. She is survived by: her husband LeRoy Fitzsimmons; her sons, Kurt Fitzsimmons of Ft. Myers, FL and Scott Fitzsimmons of Henry; her grandchildren, Kelsey, Meredith Fitzsimmons, Rebecca Holland, Trinity Phillips and Nash Rodgers; her brother Marlin "Bud" Smith; and her niece Valerie Smith of Henry.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
