He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Engle and Hazel Engle; his sister Barbara Engle Hoover; and also, Earl Dean Engle and Hazel Irene Engle (Inman).
He is survived by : his wife Dorothy "Kay" Brent; his children, Lisa Engle of Dallas Texas and Todd Brent Engle (Mary) of Mackinaw Illinois; and his niece Deborah Hoover Rasch (Steve Hoover). He is also survived by many friends and family.
