He was predeceased by: his son Jesse Michael Gurley; and his grandparents, Robert, Lady Lou Morgan, Monty and Shirley Cooper.
He is survived by: his parents, Cindy Morgan (Kent) of Herrin and Patrick Gurley of Sesser; his wife Brittany Gurley of Marion; his children, Chrissy Gurley of Herrin, Brennen, Dominic and Anastasia Gurley; and his siblings, Mechelle Swallers (Joe) of Sesser and Peyton Gurley of Herrin.
