She is survived by : her husband Marv Coulter of Herrin; her children, Wendy Ridings (Stu) of Herrin, Derrick Basler of Herrin, Ryan (Heather Alvey) of Portland, OR. and Megan Bynum of Cames, WA.; her grandchildren, Austyn Ridings of Energy, Gabriel Ridings (Ali) of Herrin, Sherman Bynum of Cames, WA., Sophie Bynum of Cames, WA, Max Gericke of Portland, OR. and Nico Coulter of Portland, OR.; and her pet Daisy.

Memorial contributions may be made to the House of Hope in Herrin. Memorial contributions may be mailed in Karen's memory in c/o Pyle Funeral Home, P.O. Box 375, Johnston City, IL. 62951.
