Melba B. Thurman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba B. Thurman (Herrin, Illinois), who passed away on September 13, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Omar W. Minton and Bernice Minton (Warren); her spouse J. Glenn Thurman; her son Ronald Glenn Thurman; her brothers, James Minton, Robert Minton and Omar Minton; her nephews, Don Morthland and Larry Minton; and her niece Pat Montrym (Tony).
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Betty J. Minton of West Frankfort; her niece Mary Alice Kutcosky (Paul) of West Frankfort; her nephew Jim Minton, Jr. (Norma) of West Frankfort; her close friends, Justin and Brynne Settle of Marion; and also, Ava, Josey, Coy Settle, Randy, Lora Settle of Herrin and Blair Bradford of Chapel Hill, NC..
