With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orval Wayne Obptande of Herrin, Illinois, born in Anna, Illinois, who passed away on September 4, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William Obptande and Lawanda (Emery); his stepfather Harold Roach; his son Jeffrey Obptande; and his brother Terry Joe Obptande.
He is survived by: his sons, Brad (Rachel Obptande), Tommy Obptande (Daryl) of Anna, IL and Chelsea Obptande of Creal Springs, IL; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Obptande of Portland, TN and Alaina Obptande of Portland, TN. He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
