It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Cohen (Highland Park, Illinois), who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Saul "Solo" Cohen; her close friend Len Mactus; and her son Alan Gitles (Karen). She is survived by: her children, David Gitles, Jay Gitles (Paula) and Sharon Uslan (Dan); her grandchildren, Rachel Barg (Aaron), Ben Gitles, Elaine Gitles, Jami Hoorwitz (Brian) and Marli Nadler (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Ethan and Sunny.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home (111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette, IL 60091). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (9900 Gross Point Rd, Skokie, IL 60076). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
