We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2025, at the age of 100, Evelyn Irene Chidester (Highland Park, Illinois), born in Cleveland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan and Marian; her significant other Franklyn Chidester; and her son Paul Allyn. She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie Shulhafer (Rocky), Liza Bullock (Tom), Ellen Whalen (Kevin) and Kate Chidester (Graham Dobson); her grandchildren, Sarah (Randy), Lynne, David (Katie), Jane, Diana (Sam), Emma (Ian), Madelaine and Glynndon (Brita); her great grandchildren, Georgia and Lucas; and her grandchild Ev's.
Her last move was back to Chicago to live with Leslie where she was able to walk freely outside during Pandemic.
