He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Hurley and Doris M. Hurley; his wife Joyce I. Hurley; his daughter Joyce Elaine Sparks; and his brother James R. Hurley.
He is survived by: his sisters, Doris Alan, Linda Stricklin and Deborah Calcote; his children, Clinton "Woody" Hurley (Delinda "Dede") of Mt. Olive, IL, Rhonda Smith, Jr. (Donald) of Collinsville, IL, Vonna Clark (Robert) of St. Jacob, IL and Shawnda Stabile (Jason) of Edwardsville, IL; his grandchildren, Eric Hurley, Derek Hurley, Nikita Miller (Cody), Astasha Sparks, Chad Sparks (Erin), Leslie Eggemeyer (Brian), Kandice Prigmore (Darrin), Bryce Stabile (Megan), Blair DePew (Kaleb), Abby Leiner, Emma Leiner, Alex Leiner, Griffin Clark and MacLayne Clark; and his great grandchildren, Brylie Stabile, Layla Stabile, Ella Eggemeyer, Chloe Eggemeyer, Chase Prigmore, Coy Prigmore, Cooper Sparks, Carson Sparks, Karson Hansel, Chael Miller, Naya Miller and Maeve Miller. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Clinton's honor to Vitas Hospice and will be received at the funeral home.
