With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer Metzger of Highland, Illinois, who passed away on January 8, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Augusta Metzger; his wife Betty L. B. Metzger; his children, Tammy Lynn Holdeman (David) of Highland, IL and Rickey E. Metzger; his grandson Tyler Alan Holdeman of Highland, IL; his sister Selma M. Warnecke; his sisters-in-law, Elsie Nungesser of Walnut Creek, CA and Sara J. "Sadie" Wiesemeyer; and his father John G. Metzger.
