He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Marfell and Retta Marfell (Sawyer). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Holmes; his children, Julie Marfell-Konopka, Bob Marfell, Suzie Myers (Marfell) and Michael Marfell St (Wife Kara); and his sister Mary Jo Tobias. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Cardinal Glennon or St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
