It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Washburn of Hillsboro, Illinois, born in Walshville, Illinois, who passed away on September 21, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Green and Erma Lindley Green; and her husband Vernon Washburn of Litchfield. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia (Nick Bourdoumis) of Hillsboro; her grandchildren, Cathy (Bruce Gabeau) of Hillsboro and Andy (Maia Bourdoumis) of Midland, TX.; her great grandchildren, Nicole Wilkin (Matt) of Springfield, Courtney Rhodes (Cole) of Brownstown, Nick Bourdoumis (Katie) of Spring, TX and Zoe Bourdoumis of Ft. Jackson, SC.; her great great grandchildren, Cash, Grayce Wilkin, Alex, Mariella Rose, Karina Bourdoumis, Kamryn, Hayden and Mykaela Beckett; her nephews, Wayne Barringer, Frank Barringer and Paul Barringer; and her cousin Helen Beal Whitlock.
