It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E Currie (Hillsboro, Illinois), born in Taylor Springs, Illinois, who passed away on June 7, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lovel M. Currie and Bessie Currie (Carlock); his brothers, Elias Currie and Bob Currie; his sisters-in-law, Carol Currie and Mary Currie; and his nephew Gary Currie.
He is survived by: his former wife Frances D. Boucher; his wife Fran; his daughter Julie Bronson (Jason); his grandchildren, Addison and Nolan Bronson; and his brothers, Bill Currie and Tom Currie (Jo Ann). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Mount Zion, or Baptist Children's Home, Carmi Illinois.
