She is survived by: her parent Lydia Catherine Hankins (Eveland); her spouse Hubert Leon Shipman; her daughter Helen Fay Bergman (James) of Waltonville; her daughter-in-law Nancy Shipman of Hillsboro; her siblings, Mildred Jett of Litchfield, IL, Elizabeth Doworsack of Litchfield, IL, Genieve Woods, Thomas Richard Hankins of Harristown, IL, Clow Jo Osborn of Hillsboro and Howard Wayne Hankins of Granite City; her son Marion "Lee" Shipman; her great grandchild Christina Watson; her great great grandchild Duane Watson; and her siblings, Mary Hassebrock, Leonard "Bud" Hankins and Joseph Alfred Hankins. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; twenty-three great great grandchildren.
