She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Eugene and Valeria Hancock (Plunkett); her grandson Ross Friesland; her siblings, Robert E. Hancock Sr., Russell Hancock, Robin Boyd (Hancock) and Ray Hancock; and her siblings' children, Floyd Lang, Wyatt Riggs and Melissa Sue Rufus.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Friesland; her son Ross Ray Friesland of Taylor Springs, IL; and her siblings, Ronita Rufus, Ronald Hancock and Ross Dean Hancock.
Per her wishes, her body was donated to science.
